About INNO-vation
The UPDATE EARTH Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the new "INNO-vation Generation Award," a public-private initiative that carries on the spirit of the INNO-vation Program, which was implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications for 10 years from FY2014 to FY2023.
The INNO-vation Program has been running for 10 years as a program to support individuals who take on extraordinary and ambitious technological challenges without fear of failure, aiming to realize a society that creates a wealth of disruptive innovation.
During this time, the "Generation Award" was launched in 2017 as part of the program offering awards from cooperative partner companies and through this the scope of the activities of the program have steadily expanded, resulting in over 20,000 applications. The INNO-vation Program has made significant contributions to creating a social atmosphere that encourages new waves of disruptive innovation.
Together with the excellent cooperation of companies and network hubs built over the past ten years, we will continue to cherish the mindset of "taking on challenges without fear of failure," which is the core philosophy of INNO-vation. This program will be held as an event to discover new incredible talent from all across Japan.
In this time of change and innovation in the world, the UPDATE EARTH Foundation aims to update the Earth with the power of innovation. We will work hand-in-hand with both public and private sectors to expand the scale of the program itself so that this award will be a great opportunity to open up a new world. Let's build a new future together.
A new and powerful logo was designed to symbolize the increasingly growing embrace of this program while retaining its Japanese origins
We hope that our message of support for everyone's activities can be felt now more than ever before.
